 Hi Kylie, Dad's wake was fantastic. Just what he would have wanted.  The experience was all 1st class, especially with the short notice.  The compassion and assistance given by both you and Lyn really helped us at a very stressful time.  Phyllis in the catering and the two young staff were nothing short of wonderful.  We have had so much feedback on how good the function was.  If a wake can be said to be enjoyable then this one was.  The food was plentiful and delicious, the service excellent, the area was great (I think there were a few golfers who will be back!).  Could  you please pass this on to all concerned including management.  I am sure you will get more business from word of mouth from our family and friends.  My wife even hinted to my daughter it would be a great place for a wedding reception.  Thanks  you once again.  Greg & Jan Rhodes - Wake for George Rhodes

 

THE DROP LOUNGE

I just wanted to let you know I had such a great time at my baby shower on Saturday .  The room looked lovely and the food was great - lots of positive feedback from my guests, most of them had not been to the Club before and commented on how nice the room & outlook were.  The staff were also fabulous and friendly.  I hope to have another function at the Club again in the future.   Simone Campbell - Simone's Baby Shower Cocktail Luncheon

Under the circumstances of having a wake, Lyn del Valle was excellent, the room was lovely for this type of reception food service great, service in drink excellent and staff were excellent.  No complaints for anyone.  All who commented thought very highly of the venue and service.  Lyn is to be highly commended on the way she handled this function in such a short time frame for us.  Georgie also is to be commended for setting the function in motion (tracking down staff etc) due to short notice and a long weekend.  Thank you for your understanding, especially when we had just lost a family member.  Don & Helen Truman - Wake for Christine Bird

THE FAIRWAY BOARDROOM
