  Kareela Golf Club - Junior Development Programme
 

Kareela Golf Club is commencing an ongoing golf training programme for
girls and boys in the 8 to 17 years age bracket.

Conducted by qualified golfing professionals,
it is designed to give coaching in all facets of golf, including  basic rules and etiquette.
It is based on enjoyment and learning.  

As part of this training package, Kareela Golf Club will offer free golfing membership for one year to junior golfers
(aged between 12 and 17 years) who can reach a basic standard in the  programme. 

Your child could become an elite golfer through this programme.
Aron Price, currently playing on the US PGA Tour, learned his early golf at Kareela, participating in a similar programme.
Several of our club champions began in similar fashion. 

The programme will run every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 4pm to 5pm at a cost of $10 per child per lesson.
There will also be opportunity to test new skills in mini competitions over 9 holes.
Please ring the Pro Shop on 9521 6279 for further enquiries or bookings. If you don’t have any golf equipment,
it can be supplied at each session for no extra cost. 

Additionally, Aron Price is sponsoring a junior golf event at Kareela during the Christmas holidays, and participants who obtain a reasonable level of proficiency in the training programme, will be invited to enter.
